Various competitions are held regularly during the year. 

 

Black History Month competition

Many thanks to all those who entered raising money for Shelter.

Summer Mini-book  Competition

Make your own mini-book (or collect one from the Library) and create a story about     summer.

 

It can be happy, sad, about animals, holidays, adventures, another world, dragons, a brave heroine…. anything you like as long as it has summer in it. 

 

You can write it by hand, or on computer , add more pages and illustrate it if you like.

 

Make sure you have your name on it and hand it in to the Library by 3.30 pm. on  Friday, 27th September.

 

SSSO Library    Easter story competition

 

Students had to write a short story with this starter line “I found a magic wand in my Easter basket and I…. “ .

We had a great response to this competition with nearly 100 entries and some fantastic stories, some students had put a great deal of thought and imagination into their stories. They were so good we had to buy some extra prizes.

The entries were judged by Mrs Clayton and these are the winners :
