Urgent News

We have been fortunate to be able to offer a variety of bursaries to our sixth formers, both during their time at St Saviour’s & St OIave’s and afterwards when they progress on to university or other career pathways:

Dyers Bursaries of £300 per term are payable to those St Saviour’s girls who achieved the highest grades at GCSE.  These bursaries are funded by the Worshipful Company of Dyers.  The Dyers are also kindly offer a bursary to one student leaving St Saviour’s each year and going on to university of £1,000 per year for three years

The Merchant Taylors Livery Company also award bursaries to those students who have made substantial improvements in their work, usually of £250.00.

The Worshipful Company of Chartered Surveyors sponsor one St Saviour’s student going to study a property related subject at university for £1,500 per annum for three years.

For the past two years, we have been able to pay bursaries to those sixth form students who live in Southwark and are in receipt of free school meals of £20.00 per week subject to good attendance.  We hope that we will continue to receive the funding to make this possible in future years.

Finally, after completing their studies, many girls make applications to the St Olave’s & St Saviour’s Foundation for assistance with university costs
