Shakespeare Schools Festival

On Friday 8th November, 17 year nine students performed ‘Julius Caesar’ at the Greenwich theatre as part of the Shakespeare Schools Festival. The performance was a huge success with the compere of the evening praising the girls for their intense and insightful performance. Pearce Quigley, a famous actor who was in the audience, stood up at the end and singled out the cast for a special mention. He said their performance was extremely impressive and professional. Audience members said that the all female take on this masculine text was interesting and moving. The cast marked themselves out as excellent future GCSE Drama students!
