Sixth Form Induction Day
Year 11 students were soon back in school after completing their GCSE examinations when over a hundred girls arrived for our sixth form induction recently. It looks like next year will be our biggest ever sixth form year.
It was a "getting -to -know-you" day combined with some team working activities. After playing People Bingo, students got down to the Shard Super Straw Triangle Challenge, where teams competed to produce structures made only from straws and inspired by the Shard - as we have come to expect, teachers were at least as competitive as their students.
In the afternoon, girls visited Borough Market for an "Apprentice" style challenge, buying unusual products and following a treasure trail. Fortunately the day ended with chocolate rather than anyone being "fired".
